IBS and the Relationship With Sleeping Disorders
I can't reinforce enough how valuable open and honest feedback is to my business and how important this communication is to the development of my programs.
I received an interesting comment from an IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) sufferer who had been practicing the Stop Snoring Program. The program not only cured her snoring problem, but she gained great relief for her IBS as well.
Stress and anxiety have traditionally been the expected root of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). However, certain foods can trigger the constipation, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, and changes in bowel function and feces color. This combination of symptoms are what is referred to as IBS.
It stands to reason that many of my programs including the Stop Snoring program would help provide great relief would work as they include relaxation exercises. I became intensely curious about the actual link between IBS and sleep disorders.
A large number of individual who suffer from IBS also report sleep disorders such as snoring and sleep apnea. Women seem either especially prone to such problems or at least are more apt to seek treatment.
It has been shown in recent studies that more than half of IBS patients also report symptoms of sleeping disorders.
In fact, some sufferers report that due to the IBS symptoms, they can't get a good night's sleep. IBS symptoms suddenly jolt them awake, disrupting the cycle of rest.
However, research indicates that the poor sleep patterns are causing the IBS symptoms to occur, not the IBS causing sleep issues.
Once particular sleep study included IBS patients and control patients. They shared no differences in the amount of time dedicated to sleep or the REM (rapid eye movement) cycles.
What it did show was that IBS symptoms were present in the mornings after waking in patients with interruptions during REM state.
This led the researchers to conclude that if the brain does not get proper rest and oxygen, a host of ailments including IBS can occur.
Like the client mentioned earlier in this article, it is very likely that my Stop Snoring program will benefit you if both IBS and sleep apnea are standing in the way of your good health. See the results right away for these conditions that are most likely linked.
