Stress Management : Two Kinds of Stress

We can not prevent stress, but we can manage it effectively. Stress is not good. We should manage and deal with it properly for better living. Most of us do not know that there are two kinds of stress. It can help us in many ways. It also serves as stress management help to those people who can not deal with stress effectively.

Stress can be determined scientifically into two types in terms of intensity and cause. These types are the eustress and the distress. For better understanding about these two types of stress, there are also two classifications such as the hyper-stress and the hypo-stress.

Eustress is known to be the short-term stress. It can be felt when there is a need for a quick physical action. The minds usually perceive such as a need. This is said to be the kind of stress that pumps adrenaline to your bloodstream and gets you going no matter how tired you are.

Eustress includes heavy physical work out. The sympathetic response of the body gets generated when the Eustress is invoked which is called as flight response. Most of the experts believe that Eustress is very supportive. In fact, it is necessary to keep them going and living. Moreover, a certain amount of it is said to be important to keep one person motivated.

Distress is called as the negative stress. It makes you feel uncomfortable at all times. It can be acute and in later time burst out which is then become a chronic stress in which their physical dependency grows. This type of stress develops because of heavy work loads, chronic illness and financial difficulties. Some people who are having difficulties in managing stress seek the support of stress management help.

Hyper-stress is the result of over loaded work. When one person is hyper-stressed, he or she is always irritable and depressive.

Hypo-stress is the opposite of hyper-stress. It may be for long time in which some amount of stress are required to keep an individual motivated and active. If one person is employed with work in which he is not challenged, he or she is likely to be a victim of hypo-stress. This is because of the repetitive nature of his or her work.
