The Classic Finger Routine

By Jason Schultz

This routine is very fun and entertaining. Memorizing it will make you seem easy going and knowledgeable about Greek Mythology.

The second you notice she is wearing rings say, "I have to ask before I run, why did you chose to wear that ring on that particular finger?"

[She responds].

You respond. "The reason why I am asking is that my friend is really deep into spirituality. She says that the fingers that a person chooses to wear rings on says something about their personality." Then tell her about each finger she has a ring on.

At this point she should be interested. Take a moment to tell her what each finger that doesn't have a ring means. Then take more time telling her about the fingers that do have rings. Use this time to build comfort and trust with the woman you are talking to.

Here are sample scripts for each of the fingers, feel free to improvise and modify when needed:

THUMB

"The thumb represents Poseidon. He was extremely independent. He wasn't up on Mount Olympus. He preferred to be in the sea doing his own thing.

Another things that you can comment on is the uniqueness of the thumbs position. The thumb sticks out from the rest of the other digits on your finger. Tell her that if she chooses to wear a thumb rings, that she does not like to follow trends and she prefers to set them.

INDEX FINGER

"The index finger is represented by Zeus. Zeus was the king of all gods and the god of thunder.

That's a very dominant finger. It represents power and immense energy. Having a ring there means you tend to be a more dominant person."

End by waving of your index finger at her as if to say "no no no" or "don't do that."

MIDDLE FINGER

The middle finger represents the god Dionysus.

When a person wears a ring on this finger, it show that that person is usually more care free. Dionysus was the Greek god that believed that life should be lived more care free and less seriously.

If they're wearing a ring on this finger toss up your middle finger and joke, "It's like saying screw you to the world." This almost always get a laugh.

RING FINGER

"Your ring finger is of course represented by Aphrodite, the goddess of love. Perhaps that's why we wear our wedding rings on this particular finger.

Next tell that usually when a person falls in love with another person, they tend to fall for them completely.

Lastly tell her that there is also scientific proof why the ring finger represents love. Tell her that when a scientists studied MRI scans from multiple hands of random people, they discovered that the ring finger is the only finger in your hands that has a vein that goes straight to the heart without branching off. So the next time someone puts a ring on your finger, they are actually making a direct connection with your heart.

PINKY FINGER

Wearing a ring on your finger shows that you are representing the Greek god Ares.

Wearing a ring on your pinky finger can mean two different things. The first side represents you being a protector. When anyone threatens the ones you love, you are usually the first person to become protective. The second side is a little darker. It show that you are a little mischievous and tend to break or bend the rules frequently.

At the end, you should smile and momentarily lock your pinky with hers.

CONTINGENCIES:

* If she isn't wearing rings and you still want to use this routine, then you can begin by saying "Look at your hands and imagine that you're wearing some rings. Now, tell me which fingers you're imagining them on."

* If during or after the routine the woman asks, "How do you know this?" You may respond, "An ex- girlfriend of mine was into mythology and taught it to me."

* If she wears a ring on her wedding finger then inquire "Is that an engagement ring or do you just wear that to keep the womanizers away?" You'll be surprised how often the latter is true.

Here is quick reference pocket guide for you to memorize and use. Enjoy.

Pinky = Ares representing conflict and protection Index = Zeus representing dominance and power Middle = Dionysus representing irreverence Ring = Aphrodite representing love and romance Thumb = Poseidon representing individuality
