Professional Organizers - Time And Creativeness To Clean Up The Clutter

By Chia Trams

Not everyone has the time or the patience to keep their spaces as tidy as they would like. People are busy and do not always have the time to deal with clutter and over time it will begin to build up. If the task becomes overwhelming, there are people that one can turn to to help get the mess turned around. Professional organizers are out there and have the experience to get the clutter under control.

The first thing that will be done once the organizer arrives is to figure out a game plan. They will ask you questions about what you would initially like for the space to look like and what type of organization you would like. After that, you both will be on the same page and can get a plan in place.

With a plan in mind, the clearing out of the room begins. Things will be divided into 3 separate piles; one for keeping, one for tossing and one for donating. The toss pile and the donation pile need to be removed from the space immediately so there is no chance for them to make it back into the room.

With the room cleared and the excess piles dealt with, the time for assembling the storage system has come. The shelving unit will have to be built. The bins will have to be brought in. The drawers will have to be created. Whatever the storage system is, it will be built right into the room as to keep the organization going for a longtime to come. The most used and the items with most importance will go in the front and at an easily accessible height. The rest of the items will be stored at other levels and more towards the back.

After the room has been put back together, another assessment will be done. This is to be sure that the room has flow and is truly organized. The entire process from start to finish can take weeks or even months depending on the depth of the unorganization.

Anyone with great organizational skills can become a professional organizer. Try out your skills at the homes of friends and your family. Take before and after pictures to show potential customers your work. There are classes that can be taken to hone your skills and you can even become certified as a professional organizer.

A professional organizer is one who specializes in clearing up clutter and putting it in the best possible places. They have the patience and the creativeness to tackle any mess, no matter how bad it is.
