Can You Get Bad Breath Because You Are On A Diet?

More often people are more concerned about their figures rather than any other health issues in their body. That is the reason why they indulge into various diet plans just to make sure if it is going to work or not, even if this can be very challenging. One can encounter various side effects because of these diet plans like weakness, dizziness and more often stomach cramps. However, are you aware of bad breath diet? Ordinarily, the diets that most of us indulge to results to bad breath, and it can be somewhat aggravating.

If you are on a diet which lacks that much carbohydrate in the menu, then you probably will encounter this unpleasant problem. The body usually is in need of converting energy through the food that we eat.

Now since our body process involves the conversion of energy and carbohydrates is one of the main components involved in the process, the body uses substitute components to convert such as proteins and fats which when converted, may produce chemicals such as ketones. Ketones are known to be responsible for that unpleasant odor that can either be noticeable as you exhale air coming out from your body, or may be a noticeable foul odor in any other part of your body.

Let's say for instance that you are on a low carb diet, and you are also engaged in firming up those muscles so you could also shed off those pounds, this may be a common problem for you. The low card diet complements your workout activities and it is essential for you to follow it religiously.

Together with the diet itself, one needs to do frequent exercises to lose weight and keep the muscles going. As you do this on a regular basis, you then have to replenish your protein content. The same process goes on as you continuously produce ketones which is being released in your body. Next thing you know is that you already have that unpleasant smell coming out from your mouth.

Yes of course, you will definitely look slimmer by indulging yourself with these low carb diet plans, but the thing here is, would you be able to keep up with that unpleasant smell all the time? You may have temporary relief for this bad breath diet issue by continuously taking care of your oral hygiene, however this may not be a permanent resolution to your problem.

Since you are following an unbalanced type of diet, there is no way for you to avoid this problem. Remember, food is one of the major factors why people acquire bad breath. The more you indulge in this kind of diet, the greater chances of you releasing such chemicals that can affect your body and this would lead to your inability to resolve the problem accordingly.

You have to consider as a possibility that this may not be that beneficial on your end, and not that much worth all your hard work. Would you rather choose indulging in the same diet, and at the same time you lose your friends because they can't stand your breath? I suppose not. In this case you may have to look for an alternative diet that would not have the same bad breath diet effect, that can bother you for a very long period of time.
